Unexpected everyday issues when getting fatter

I've been gaining weight consistently for a while now and more recently crossed that line where certain things obviously start to become more of a challenge or less possible. I'd like to hear from fellow fat folk and feeders/carers about what kind of everyday issues or problems someone should expect as they get much larger, especially the things that the average person wouldn't think of!

I have trouble with things like turning in bed and getting out of bed now, you don't realise how hard it is until you have a lot of weight on your belly. I'm not as big as a lot of people but things like that are still changing.

FAMGM:
I was fully prepared for the fact that I’d become unfit, struggle to run or walk far, fit in chairs with arms, etc.

What I did not expect was how difficult it is to reach across my own body! I have to put my seat belt on by picking it up with the nearer hand, pulling it towards my middle, and passing it to the other hand, which buckles it.

Huh, that's interesting I don't have that problem

All bodies are different. While you and FAMGM are about the same size, you have different shapes. Also your body composition can be different. So while you two appear to be about the same size, you can have wildly different limitations.

For me it’s putting on socks been a struggle for me since I got over about 350. I haven’t bought a pair of boots/shoes that weren’t slip on in a very long time. Bending over is getting pretty darn exhausting and at this point I’m not sure if it’s a lazy thing or a ‘I’ve gotten so fat it’s a struggle’ thing

Oh and getting enough to eat, always a thing ha

Yeah that is very true, it's interesting how bodies can differ even at similar weights.

Don't wear what? Your seat belt? Pretty sure that's a crime. Also super dangerous. I've lost loved ones that way.

Is the issue it doesn't go far enough around you? Or is the seat itself too tight to comfortably buckle?

So that’s not why i removed the censor that stops the dinging while I’m unbuckled, I had that done because I plow snow in the winter and every time you hit a pot hole or the plow gets caught on something the seatbelt bunches like you’ve been in a accident it’s very uncomfortable especially when you’re in a busy parking lot and there’s people you gotta have your head on a swivel.

It’s just a habit I don’t buckle, but it’s more of having enough space issue than a the belt can fasten

Oh! Recently I have realized I have to drive with 2 feet now because my belly falls so far between my legs I can't move the right one over far enough to hit the breaks. So I have to use my left foot to break and the right for gas.
